About Me...

I have been in the fitness industry for 25 years teaching everything from bootcamp to postnatal, from the very young (16 years old) to more senior (96 years old).

 

In 2010 I decided to move towards a more effective, safe form of exercise that enables you to exercise more frequently, in fact every day if you wish to. 

 

Specialising in Pilates means I can teach clients how to move effectively, understanding ABC - Alignment, Breath and Control.  I enjoy being part of the progressive change that I see in clients and the dramatic positive effect it can bring to their lives. Clients tell me daily how much better they feel for moving.

 

Yoga brings about renewed energy, more flexibility and stronger mind-body connection.

 

All of my sessions whether it's a public class, private session or 1:1 will be tailored to suit the ability of the student/s. I offer adaptations to all exercises making them accessible to everyone whether you are just starting out and want to become more active or are fitter but want to get stronger.

I teach a synergy of traditional Hatha yoga and my own contemporary mix suitable for the western body that I like to refer to as Dynamic Vinyasa Flow with a natural flow from one exercise to the next. Incorporating the rhythmic connection between breath and movement we begin to create a holistic experience through connection of the mind and body creating a life of balance, purpose and joy!

 

Through the practice of yoga poses you will experience more core-generated alignment with focus on constant core connection.  This improves stability and maximum benefits such as calorie burn, strength, flexibiliy, focus, self-awareness and confidence in as little as 6-8 weeks.

 

Teaching you how to move with control from the inner body with concentration and precision you will discover how to use your deep core lines along the skeleton to make quick gains in true power, making all your postures more possible as you keep your body healthy.
